P/PC

The past few weeks at my job have made me reconsider something, the P/PC concept. It’s because of the difference between production and production capability, two terms used by Stephen Covey in his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Production is our ability to produce something (or in other words, our ability to do productive work), while production capability is our ability to maintain the level of production.

You see without attention to the P you loose the PC. I really do wonder who understands that? The manufacturer of my personal truck has been sending me requests for recall work to be done free of charge, for the past three years. I have put it off, time and again due to PC and now I have finally decided to get the work done because of the above....

On the plains of hesitation lie the blackened bones of countless million, who, at the dawn of victory sat down to rest, and in resting, died.
